Coat or spray IFFA activator (pre-activating/activating first) on IFFA hydrographic film then lay the film on the surface of water and wait for dipping. The process was mainly for mass production by automatic water transfer printing machines. But in some cases, it is also for mass production by manual water transfer printing tanks.

Lay IFFA hydrographic film on the surface of water until the film almost dissolves. Then spray IFFA activator (post-activating/activator later) and go for dipping. This process is flexible for sample, small quantity or mass production. It is widely applied with IFFA automatic, semi-automatic or manualwater transfer printing systems.
